Gladwin County Obituary/Death Notice
 
Floyd Garlick

   Floyd "Ray" Garlick, 70, of Beaverton, formerly of Warren, passed away Friday, Feb. 17, 2006 at Covenant Hospital in Saginaw. He was born in Warren on Oct. 3, 1935, the son of the late Bert and Viola Garlick. Ray service his country with the U.S. Air Force. He was employed at Carboly Corporation, then, at General Electric in Warren, MI for 35 years. Ray was very mechanical and loved driving his restored fire truck in parades. He enjoyed card playing and Keno.

   Ray is survived by his daughter, Grace (Joel) Gibb; sisters, Dorothy (Bob) Barr, Velda James, Teresa Fortune, M. Jean Fraim, and Kathleen Garlick; several nieces and nephews; faithful companion, Wierdo and special friend, Harry Johnson. Ray left many friends behind and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Herbert, Robert and Bill.

   A Funeral Service was held Feb. 21, 2006 at Allen Funeral Home in Davison with Rev. Robert D. Taylor officiating. Burial followed in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery.

   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with outstanding medical bills.
