Beatrice Gallihugh
Beatrice E. Gallihugh, 87, of Gladwin, passed away Saturday, Sept. 17 at her home.
She was born May 26, 1918 in Flint to Henry and Blanche Foreman Crowl. Bea married Delbert Roe on Oct. 13, 1936 in Angola, Indiana. They owned and operated D & B Refuse Company from 1947-1979. Delbert passed away in April 1966. She then married Charles Gallihugh on June 22, 1968 in Gladwin. Charles passed away in March 1991. Beatrice was a member of the Community of Christ Church. She loved to hunt, fish and camp and was a member of Wobblers Cove.
Surviving are two sons, Delbert (JoAnn) Roe of Gladwin and Eugene Roe of St. Johns; three step children, Phillip Gallihugh, Grace Penny and David Gallihugh; eight grandchildren and 19 Great grandchildren. A son, Bernard Roe, two grandchildren, two Great grandchildren, one sister and four brothers predecease her.
Services were held on Monday at the Sisson Funeral Home. Elder Ned Bechtel officiated. Burial was in the Highland Cemetery.
