James Fruchey

JAMES FRUCHEY BURIED SUNDAY

   Services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home for James Corwin Fruchey, 73, who died July 16 after a long illness. The Rev. Burdette Faulk officiated and burial was in Highland Cemetery.

   Born on June 26, 1891 in Columbus, Ohio, he moved to Grout Township in 1902 where he farmed. In 1954 he retired and moved into Gladwin. He was a World War I veteran. He was married to the former Myrtle Harvey who survives. Other survivors include two brothers, George, of Beaverton, and Lawrence, of Breckenridge; and one sister, Mrs. Mary Ervay, of Holt.
