Charles Frost

WILLIAM FROST DIES MARCH 13 IN STANDISH

   Charles William Edward Frost, an old time resident of Sage township, died at the Standish hospital Wednesday March 13, as a result of injuries received March 13, as a result of injuries received March 8 when struch by a car. William Frost was born in Huron county November 24, 1870. While a young man he worked his way through college in Boston. Coming to Gladwin county in about 1901 and in 1918 settled on the farm in Sage township where he has since resided.

   Surviving him are his adopted son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Goodwin and three children, one sister, Mrs. Frank Chrastke of Chicago, Illinois, one brother, Fred Frost of Glenoma, Washington and many nephews, neices and friends. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. W. M. Palmer at 2 p.m. at the Smith Creek Evangelical Church. Interment was in Highland Cemetery.
