Harold G. Freeman
Harold G. Freeman, 83, of Beaverton, died Monday, Jan. 13, 2003, at his home, after a short illness. He was born Sept. 28,
1919 to Garfield and Alice (Ray) Freeman in Beaverton. He was employed as a welder at The Dow Chemical Co. in Midland. He
retired in 1975, after 34 years. He was a lifetime resident of Gladwin County. Harold married Gladys (Clingan) Freeman on
March 11, 1938, in Freeland.
He is survived by his wife Gladys Freeman of Beaverton; his daughter and son-in-law, Rosemary and Harold Phillips of
Beaverton; his sons and daughters-in-law, Jim and Carol Freeman and Don and Connie Freeman all of Beaverton; seven
grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brothers, John and Alvin.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Friday, Jan. 17, 2003, at Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton. 989-435-9841. Elder Donn Pendleton
will officiate, with burial at Tobacco Township (Dale) Cemetery, Beaverton. Visitation will be Thursday, Jan 16, 2003, from 2
to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Parkinson Foundation or Mid Michigan Hospice-Gladwin County.
