Mildred "Mid" B. Fox
Mildred "Mid" B. Fox, 74, of Gladwin, died Friday, Oct. 18, 1996 at home
following a short illness. She was born March 6, 1922 in Gladwin, where she resided her whole
life. The former Mildred Clore married James Fox Sept. 29, 1946 in Gladwin. She was a member
of VFW Post 11256, Eagles Auxiliary #3292.
Besides her husband, she is survived by 2 daughters, Sandra of Gladwin and Susann and husband
John Kurtz of West Branch; 5 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Freda Hannah of
Birch Run, Elsie Velez of Detroit, and Juanita Campbell of Gladwin; and one brother, Jim Clore
of Gladwin. She was preceded in death by 4 brothers.
Special services were held at 7 p.m. Monday by the VFW Post 11256, Eagles Auxiliary #3292.
Services were held at 11 a.m., Tuesday from the Hall Funeral Home, Gladwin chapel and the Rev.
Deane B. Wyllys officiated and burial was in the McClure Cemetery, Gladwin. Memorials may be made
to the Mid-Michigan Hospice.
