Rich R. Foutch
Rich R. Foutch, 78, of Gladwin, died Friday, December 1, at the Saginaw
Veterans Hospital, following a short illness. Born October 22, 1894, in Gladwin. Mr. Foutch
had been a life-long resident of the county. He and the former Audrey Johnson were married
in Gladwin May 22, 1915. She preceded him in death October 29, 1959. He was a veteran of World
War I and was a farmer until his retirement. Mr. Foutch was a charter member of the Cedar River
Riding Club, a fancier of good riding horses and was a familiar figure on Gladwin streets with
his horse.
Surviving are one son, Richard of Harrison; one daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Juneac of Gladwin; two
brothers, Right and Victor, both of Gladwin; one sister, Mrs. Joy Shaw of Rose City; six grandchildren
and one great grandchild. Services were held Monday at 2:00 p.m. at the Hall Funeral Home with the Rev.
Carl Briggs officiating. Burial was in Highland Cemetery.
