Lawrence Foutch
Lawrence A. Foutch, 79, of Flint died Thursday, Aug. 18, 2005 at Brian’s House. He was born Nov. 8, 1925 in Gladwin. He was the last surviving child of Harrison and Jenny (Podunk) Foutch. He served his country with the U.S. Marines during WWII in the Pacific and was a member of V.F.W. Post 8236. Lawrence retired from General Motors where he had worked as a welder repairman for over 40 years.
Surviving are his children, Patricia Ann Mann and Gwyndolyn Foutch; his grandchildren, Allen (Jodi) Mann, Leon Mann, Lorna Longest and Tammy Foutch; and his Great grandchildren, A.J. Mann, Desiree M. Rappley, Stephanie L. Mann, Gregory L. Mann, John C. Rappley, Taylor J. Mann, Makayla R. Knitter, Nannette Longest and Brooke Urbaniak.
A gathering of family and friends was held Saturday, Aug. 20 at Reigle Funeral Home Sunset Chapel. As were his wishes, cremation followed. Memorial contributions may be made to Toys for Tots.
