Charles F. Foster
  Charles F. Foster, 81, of 3219 W. Lang Rd., Beaverton, died Monday, Dec. 5, in the Saginaw
V.A. Medical Center after a short illness. Born in Ellsworth, Feb. 26, 1907, he came to Gladwin
County in 1977. Mr. Foster was a retired repairman for food processing in the canning factory
in New Era. He served in the Army during World War II. Mr. Foster and the former Florence
Pendleton were married May 5, 1977, in Beaverton.
  Besides his wife, he is survived by 2 sons, Norman of Grand Blanc and Merle of Flint; one
daughter, Mrs. Ida O'Donnell of Flushing; a step-son, Elwin Pendelton of LeClaire, Iowa; and
a step-daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Pidcock of Linwood. Services were held today, Wednesday, at
11 a.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton Chapel. Elder Donn Pendleton officiated and
burial was in the Tobacco Township Cemetery.
