Gary W. Flock
VIETNAM VET DIES IN AUTO
SP/4 Gary Flock, of the U.S. Army, was killed in an automobile accident near Colorado
Springs, Colo., Sunday, Oct. 30. The 23-year-old soldier is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack
Flock, of Beaverton. SP. Flock had spent a year in Viet Nam and only recently returned to
this country and was stationed at Ft. Carson, near Colorado Springs. A 1962 graduate of
the Beaverton High School, he had enlisted in the military service on March, 1965.
Services will be held at the Dale Methodist Church Saturday at 2:00 p.m. Burial will
be in the Dale Cemetery with full military rites. Friends may call at the Hall Funeral
Home from Friday morning until 11:00 a.m. Saturday forenoon. Survivors are his parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Flock; a brother, Walter David, also in service, in Korea; a sister, Mrs.
Rae Rhodes of Beaverton.
