Elizabeth Fleming
Elizabeth M. “Bea” Fleming, 85, of Gladwin died June 4, 2005 at home after a long illness.
She was born Jan. 23, 1920 in Wooster, Ohio to Walter and Alma (Wells) Williamson. She married Alvin “Bud” Fleming on Sept. 11, 1939 in Woodsfield, Ohio; he died in 1999. She was a homemaker. She lived in Gladwin County since they owned the farm in 1948. She previously resided in Highland Park.
Surviving her are two daughters, Barbara (Barney) Hager of Indian River and Linda (Steve) Foutch of Gladwin; four grandchildren, Mike Fleming of Gladwin, Linda (Jim) Hoard of Gladwin, Pattie (Jim) Boutilier of Indian River, and Dave (Brenda) Hager of Gladwin; four step-grandchildren; four Great grandchildren; three Great step-grandchildren; a brother, Beryl Williamson of Petersburg, Ohio; and a sister, Ruth Ayers of New Philadelphia, Ohio. She is predeceased by her parents and a sister, Lorainna Siebert.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 7 at Hall Funeral Home in Gladwin with Pastor David Spring officiating. Burial took place at Ridge Cemetery in Gladwin.
