Michael Flanagan
Michael P. Flanagan, 61, of Gladwin, passed away May 1, 2008 at MidMichigan Medical Center–Gladwin following a short illness.
He was born March 7, 1947 to Noble D. and Rose (Perander) Flanagan in Ypsilanti. He retired from Ford Motor Company in 1996 where he was a Bullard Operator. He was also a veteran of the United States Army and served during the Vietnam era. He lived in Gladwin County for 13 years, having previously resided in Garden City. He also loved working on cars.
He married the former Judith Gates on June 21, 1966 in Wayne. She survives him. Also surviving besides his wife, Judith Flanagan of Gladwin, are three daughters, Lisa Black of Gladwin, Michelle (Michael) Brilla of Ann Arbor and Kelly (Scott) Cramer of Ohio; 10 grandchildren; two brothers; one sister; and several nieces and nephews.
According to the wishes of the family, cremation will take place. Arrangements were handled by Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home in Gladwin.
