Gladwin County Obituary/Death Notice
 
Leonard Feurstein

   Leonard Linus Feuerstein, 89, of Gladwin passed away Monday, March 12, 2007 in Gaylord.

   Leonard was born Dec. 19, 1917 in Chesaning, the son of Paul and Sophia (Bitterman) Feuerstein.

   Mr. Feuerstein served his country in the United States Army during World War II Leonard was united in marriage to the former Isabelle Elizabeth Graves on Aug. 11, 1941 at St. Mary’s Church in St. Charles.

   Mr. Feuerstein had resided in Gladwin since 1986, having previously resided in Cadillac Leonard was an avid gardener.

   Surviving are his loving wife, Isabelle Elizabeth Feuerstein of Gladwin; two sons, John "Jack" (Connie) Feuerstein of Fenton and Rev Dennis (Clara) Feuerstein of Gladwin; one daughter, Nancy (David) Stefanic of Gaylord; one brother, Edward (Elizabeth) Feuerstein of New Lothrop; one sister, Pauline (Wilford) Bueche of Chesaning; one sister-in-law, Bonnie of Florida; six grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren Mr. Feuerstein was preceded in death by his parents Funeral services were held Thursday, March 15, 2007 Trinity Christian Life Center in Harrison, with Reverend Don Roberts officiating. Inurnment will be in St. Michael Cemetery in Chesaning.
