ELMER FARROW
Elmer L. Farrow, 59, of 331 W. Brown St. Beaverton, died suddenly Wednesday, Feb. 27, of a heart attack in Scottsbluff, Neb. Born in Gladwin May 14, 1925, he spent his lifetime in Gladwin County. He retired in 1980 as an operator for Dow Chemical Co. Mr. Farrow served in the Navy during World War II. He was a member of the Gladwin County VFW 7303, the Gladwin F.O.E. 3292 and Our Savior Lutheran Church. He was married to the former Margaret Weisbeck March 4, 1946 in Gladwin. She preceded him in death Aug. 3, 1983.
Surviving are one son, Robert of Granbury, Texas; one brother, Donald, of Clare; and 3 sisters, Mrs. Margaret Krahner and Mrs Lila Mae Mielke of Gladwin and Mrs Louella Eslick of Farwell. Services were held Monday at 11a.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton Chapel. The Rev. Donald Dengler officiated and burial was in the Beaverton Cemetery. An F.O.E. memorial service ws held Sunday at 8 p.m. at the funeral home. .
