Blanche Falk
Blanche H. Falk, 87, of Gladwin, died March 10, 2005 at MidMichigan Medical Center in Midland after a short illness.
She was born Jan. 13, 1918 in Alpena. She married Fred H. Falk in Saginaw on June 1, 1940; he died in 1979. She was a homemaker and lived in Gladwin County since 1976, having previously resided in Saginaw. She was an honorary member of the Sugar Springs Golf Association.
Surviving are four children, Sheila (Dr. David) King of Florida, Ned (Barbara) Falk of Gladwin, Pamela (David) Martin of California, and Toni Falk-Woodruff of Gladwin; seven grandchildren, Jeff, Shelli, Naomi, Joshua, Russell, Ashley and Logan; three Great grandchildren, Nicholas, Mitchel and Avery; and one brother, Earl Calcut of Utah. She was predeceased by her parents, one grandchild, Scott King; one sister, Mary; and brothers, Harry and Amasa.
Burial will take place at Roselawn Cemetery in Saginaw. Memorial contributions may be made to Sugar Springs Memorial Fund or donor’s favorite choice.
