Gladwin County Obituary/Death Notice

Lillian Fairchild

MRS. FLOYD FAIRCHILD

Particularly sad to the people of Dale is the death of Lillian, only child of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Sorge, and wife of Floyd Fairchild. Her childhood was lived mostly in this community where she had endeared herself to all.

Hard to give up our loved ones to the grim reaper in any case, it is peculiarly so when that one is sweet and fair and in the springtime of life. Lillian graduated from Beaverton high school with the class of "twenty" and became a bride in June. It seemed that she had much to live for. She was a member of Dale M.E. church where she will be greatly missed. She was also a "Gleaner" and the members of Dale Arbor deplore their loss. The funeral was largely attended and the deepest sympathy was expressed by all for the grief stricken parents and husband.
