Gladwin County Obituary/Death Notice
 
Thomas Fabrizio

   Thomas J. Fabrizio, 83, of Beaverton, died Nov. 18, 2006 at Tender Care Nursing Home in Midland. He was born Oct. 22, 1923 to James and Racklee (Magdalena) Fabrizio in Hartshorne, Oklahoma. Mr. Fabrizio retired as a machinist in 1983, and was employed at General Electric-Caraloy Division in Detroit. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He had lived in Gladwin County since 1983, a prior resident of Detroit. He married Catherine Fuccy Feb. 23, 1942 in Detroit. He was a member of VFW Post #7303, and he also enjoyed collecting stamps.

   He is survived by his wife, Catherine Fabrizio of Beaverton; a daughter and son-in-law, Norma and Paul Pemberton of Beaverton; a son and daughter-in-law, Russell and Susan Fabrizio of California; grandchildren, Mark and Amanda Pemberton, Bryce Fabrizio, Danielle Fabrizio, Lauren Fabrizio; great grandchildren, Elexia, Alisa and Adriana; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, two brothers and a sister.

   Mr. Fabrizio had a great love for his family, especially the grandchildren and great grandchildren.

   Funeral Services are Wednesday, Nov. 22 at 11 a.m. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home in Gladwin with Rev. Fr. John Cotter officiating. He will be buried in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Gladwin.

   Memorial contributions may be made to the Helping Hands Mission or Southern Care Hospice.
