OTTIE MALOSH ELZAY


  Mrs. Ottie S. Elzay, 82, of 503 Lang Rd., Beaverton, died suddenly of a heart attack at her home Wednesday, Feb. 23. Born in Paulding County, Ohio, on August 30, 1900, had spent most of her life in Gladwin County. She was a member of the Beaverton United Methodist Church and the American Legion Auxiliary in Harrison. The former Ottie Perry, she was married to Ralph E. Malosh March 5, 1919. He died June 14, 1943. She married Curt Elzay in November 1950 and he preceded her in death May 24, 1961.

  Surviving are 4 sons, John and Edward of Beaverton, Donald of Flint and Richard of Gladwin; 2 daughters, Mrs. Delbert (Berniece) Davis of Harrison and Mrs Alvin (Helen) Rise of Silver Springs, Fla.; 2 brothers, Sheridan of Spokane, Wash, and Jessie of Hazel Park; 2 sisters, Mrs. Vesta Conley of Mexico Beach, Fla., and Mrs. Mae Smith of Bradenton, Fla.; 26 grandchildren and 49 great grandchildren.

  Services were held Monday at 1 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton Chapel. The Rev. Bruce Hatch officiated and burial was in the Beaverton Cemetery..
