Senneth Edick

MRS. SENNETH S. EDICK EARLY PIONEER DIES

   Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon, June 9, at 2:30 at the Gladwin Free Methodist church for Mrs. Senneth Sherman Edick, conducted by Rev. Charles H. Woods. Burial services were at the Ridge cemetery. Mrs. Senneth Sherman Edick was born in Yarker, Canada, July 12, 1862, and died June 6, 1936, at the age of 73 years, 10 months and 24 days. At the age of ten, she cam with her parents and brother, Gilbert Sherman to Michigan, settling on a farm in Gladwin township.

   She married Amos D. Edick December 27, 1877. Two children were born, a daughter, Mrs. Eva Greer, of Gladwin township, and a son, Grover, of Gladwin. For several years after their marriage Mr. and Mrs. Edick lived on farms in Gladwin township, then moved to McClure, where Mr. Edick died in 1916. Three years later Mrs. Edick moved to Gladwin, where she made her home on Silver Leaf street.

   She leaves to mourn: Mr. and Mrs. Grover Edick, Mr. and Mrs. James Greer, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Sherman, six grandchildren, four nephews, one niece and many other relatives and friends.
