Henry Edick
SHORT ILLNESS FATAL TO HENRY EDICK
Henry M. Edick, 82, of Gladwin Township, died Monday at his home after a short illness. He was born in Ohio on Oct. 23, 1875,
and had been a resident of Gladwin county for the past 80 years, Mr. Edick had retired from farming. On June 30, 1895, he was
married to the former Miss Ethel Van Alstine in Gladwin county. Survivors include his wife, Ethel; five sons, Claire and
Victor of Gladwin, Everett of Flint, Melving of California and Rex of Traverse City; a daughter, Mrs. Winifred Jadel, of
California; a brother, Albert, of Flint; three sisters, Mrs. Nancy Dassay, Mrs. Verna Groat, and Mrs. Leona Yeager, all of
Gladwin; 16 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held today (Wednesday) at 2:30 o'clock at the Hall Funeral Home. The Rev. Henry Schmidt officiated and
burial was in Ridge cemetery.
