Luella Dwyer
Luella E. Dwyer, 92, of Gladwin died Jan. 26, 2005 at Gladwin Nursing and Rehabilitation Community in Sage Township. She was born Feb. 15, 1912 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Clyde and Florence (Wright) Sing. She married John Dwyer on Nov. 20, 1928 in Bowling Green, Ohio. She was a homemaker and lived in Gladwin County 12 years, having previously resided in Florida. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Surviving are her husband, John Dwyer of Gladwin; her children, John Jr. (Gladys) Dwyer of Gladwin, Martha (Bernie) Couturier of Battle Creek, Russell (Garnet) Dwyer of Mesick and Nancy Dwyer of Washington; and 19 grandchildren, 26 Great grandchildren, and five Great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Beverly Gaunt, and sons Robert and Theodore.
Memorial services were held Jan. 29 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Gladwin, with Rev. Fr. Patrick Jankowiak officiating. Arrangements were by Hall Funeral Home in Gladwin.
