Floyd Dutcher Sr.
DETROIT MAN BURIED AT MCCLURE
Floyd Elwood Dutcher, 49, passed away at his home in Detroit on Friday, June 21. After
a Legionaire service held Sunday evening at the Martinsen Funeral Home in Detroit, the body
was brought to the Hall Funeral Home in Gladwin where funeral services were held on Monday
afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial was in the McClure cemetery. Rev. M. R. Jewell officiated. Mr.
Dutcher was born in Gladwin on February 20, 1897. He was a veteran of World War I, and has
spent most of his life in Detroit.
Surviving are his wife, Lorene; a daughter, Marie; three sons, Floyd Jr., and Robert at home
and Donald, in the U.S. Service; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Dutcher, of Gladwin; one
sister, Mrs. L. V. Quinn, of Detroit.
