Charles Drudge
Charles L. Drudge, 81, of Beaverton passed away Sunday, Sept. 9, 2007 at the Gladwin Nursing and Rehabilitation Community.
Charles was born Dec. 24, 1925 in Genesee County to Elmer and Iva (Britting) Drudge. He married Elizabeth Baxter June 9, 1945 in Flint. Elizabeth passed away Oct. 18, 1987.
Charles worked for the Genesee County Road Commission and served on the Genesee Township Fire Department for 25 years. He moved to Gladwin in 1973 and was a member of the Albright Shores Eagles and the Estey Moose Lodge.
Surviving are one son, Charles (Debbie) Drudge of Beaverton; three daughters, Bethany (Stanley) Nokielski of Beaverton, Janet (Larry) Reisig of Buckley and Phyllis (Mark) Oberman of Ozark, Arkansas; nine grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Rena Greve of Southbend, Indiana.
Services were held 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 13, 2007 at the Sisson Funeral Home in Gladwin. Burial was in Flint Memorial Park.
