Charles Drudge
Charles L. Drudge, 81, of Beaverton passed away Sunday, Sept. 9, 2007 at the Gladwin Nursing & Rehabilitation Community.
Charles was born Dec. 24, 1925 in Genesee County to Elmer and Iva (Britting) Drudge.
He married Elizabeth Green on June 9, 1945 in Flint. Elizabeth passed away Oct. 18, 1987.
Charles worked for the Genesee County Road Commission and served 25 years on the Genesee Township Fire Department. He moved to Gladwin in 1973 and was a member of the Albright Shores Eagles and the Estey Moose Lodge. Surviving are one son, Charles (Debbie) Drudge of Beaverton; three daughters, Bethany (Stanley) Nokielski of Beaverton, Janet (Larry) Reisig of Buckley and Phyllis (Mark) Oberman of Ozark, Alaska; nine grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 13 great-greatgrandchildren; and one sister, Rena Greve of Southbend, Indiana. Services are at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 13, 2007 at Sisson Funeral Home, Gladwin. Burial is in Flint Memorial Park. Visitation is at the funeral home Wednesday from 2-8 p.m.
