William Dreher

WILLIAM DREHER


  William H. Dreher, 74, of 1053 McKimmy Dr., Beaverton, died suddenly Wednesday, March 16, 1994, in the MidMichigan Regional Medical Center, Midland. He was born in Toledo, Ohio, Dec. 20, 1919, and moved to the county in 1988 from Pontiac. Mr. Dreher had spent his summers and recreation time in the county for 28 years. He was a floor molder for General Motors in Pontiac and retired in 1982 after 22 1/2 years. He served in the Army during World War II and was a member of the Gladwin County VFW Post 7303. Mr. Dreher and the former Betty Towsley were married Oct. 26, 1945, in Toledo, Ohio.

  Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Timothy of Huston, Texas; 2 daughters, Jeanne Dreher of San Antonio, Texas and Mrs. Oscar (Marilou) Guerrero of McAllen, Texas; one sister, Iva Fleischman of Toledo, Ohio; and one grandchild. Rites were held Sunday at 2 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton Chapel with the Rev. David Stewart officiating. A graveside service was held at the Tobacco Township Cemetery by the VFW. Memorials may be made to the Dale United Methodist Church.
