Gladwin County Obituary/Death Notice
 
Cecile Doyle

   Cecile E. Doyle, 99, of Gladwin passed away Saturday, Dec. 9, 2006 at the MidMichigan Gladwin Pines Nursing Home.

   She was born Jan. 10, 1907 in Emmet County to Oliver and Mary (Wheeler) Dunton. Cecile married Frank Doyle Jan. 31, 1926. Frank passed away Nov. 4, 1980.

   She worked as a cook for Beaverton Rural Schools from 1952 to 1972 and was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.

   She is survived by two sons, Robert Doyle of Mesa, Arizona and Roger of Montana; one daughter, Pearl Foust of Philipsburg, Montana; one daughter-in-law, Ruth Doyle of Beaverton; one son-in-law, Lynn Rau of Gladwin, several grandchildren, Roger and Ruth Foust, Patti and Steve Baker, Linda and Steve Batdorff, Bonnie and Tom Reynolds, Cindy and Rob Murphy, Roberta Walters, Becky and Bill Betts, Susie and Bill Richey, Rhonda Peifer, Vicki and Mike Connor, Kenneth and Vicky Doyle, Thomas and Judy Doyle, Janice and Robert Cooper, Sheryl and Kevin Wright, Tim and Sandy Rau, Jeff and Marcia Rau, and Dan and Cindy Rau; 51 great-grandchildren; and 24 great-greatgrandchildren. Cecile is predeceased by her husband, Frank; one son, Glen Doyle; one daughter, Lucille Rau; one grandson, Mark Doyle; twin sisters, Eva and Effie; brothers, William and Stanley Dunton; and daughter-in-law, Helen Doyle.

   Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2006 at Emmanuel Baptist Church. Pastor Roger Foust Jr. will officiate; burial is at Midland Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church or Gladwin Pines Nursing Home. Arrangements were handled by Sisson Funeral Home.
