Joan Dillon
Joan (Oliver) Dillon, 68, of Beaverton went to be with the Lord Thursday, Aug. 10, 2006 at her home after a short illness.
Joan Oliver was born on April 3, 1938. She was married to Horace (Tim) Dillon on May 23, 1957. She was a member of Beaverton Church of the Nazarene.
Surviving are her husband, Horace; three daughters, Debra Dillon of Memphis, Tennessee, Stephanie (Robert) Bowman of Saginaw, and Dana (Jon) Skiba of Frankenmuth; three granddaughters, Jonni and Jordan Skiba and Billi Bowman; one grandson, Robert Bowman; and a sister, Paulette Groulx of Bay City.
In celebration of her life a memorial service will be held at the Beaverton Church of the Nazarene on Sunday, Aug. 20 at 11 a.m. Arrangements were entrusted to Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth. Those planning ad expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Jude’s Children Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
