Gladwin County Obituary/Death Notice
 
Clayton Dickinson

   Clayton C. Dickinson, 70, of Beaverton, died at home Monday, Jan. 14, 2008. He was born Feb. 15, 1937 in Barryton, the son of Erwin and Daisy Pearl (Perry) Dickinson.

   He married his wife, Edith, Oct. 23, 1987 in Stanton. Clayton retired from Ionia Prison in 1999.

   He was a member of the Sanford First Baptist Church.

   Survivors include his wife, Edith of Beaverton; three sons, Jordan, Jesse and Joshua Dickinson, all of Beaverton; two daughters, Debbie Letts of Greenville and Erica (Damean) Withey of Greenville; two stepdaughters, Jamie and Bobby Jones of Fenwick, Lisa McNew of Florida; several grandchildren; many greatgrandchildren; two brothers, Bud and Lyle Dickinson, both of Greenville; two sisters, Ida Stillwagon of Florida and Midge Lang of Greenville; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Chuck, Floyd and Wayne Dickinson; two sisters, Florence Holsinger and June Stillwagon; and great-grandson, Zachary LaMange.

   Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16 at the O’Laughlin Funeral Home, Inc., 215 W. Adams in Coleman with Pastor Roger Saltee officiating. Committal services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the East Montcalm Cemetery, Greenville.

   Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the time of services.
