Ray Demaray
Ray F. Demaray, 74, of 4258 Bay Rd., Gladwin, died Thursday, March 11, 1993 at home following a long illness.
He was born in Gladwin Jan. 13, 1919 and lived in Gladwin most of his life. Mr. Demaray was employed as a machine operator
for Cal Plastics in Beaverton until he retired in 1964. He was a member of the Gladwin Baptist Church.
He married the former Ilace M. Small on Jan. 18, 1948 in Gladwin. She preceded him in death on Nov. 19, 1990.
Surviving are one son, Raymond of Forsyth, Mo.; 4 daughters, Mrs. Donald (Jeannie) Bailey of Kirbyville, Mo., Mrs. Harold
(Kathie) Derr of Gladwin; Mrs. Steve (Mary Beth) Duffy of Evart, and Sally Demaray of Gladwin; one brother, Virgil of
Gladwin; 4 sisters, Neva Mielke of Clare, Gladys Carper of Mr. Clemens; Vera Mae Wade of Flint, and Rosemary Anderson of
Gladwin; 15 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph and a sister, Virgilene
Bruner.
Rites were held Monday at 2 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Gladwin Chapel. The Rev. Robert F. Brown officiated and burial
was in the Highland Cemetery.
