James B. Demaray
James B. Demaray of Bentley, Michigan, was born February 12, 1855, and died Tuesday, May 22, 1928, of cancer, at the Mercy
hospital, Bay City, after an illness of four weeks. Mr. Demaray moved to Bentley from Gladwin where he had been a keeper of
the county infirmary for six years.
In 1880 he was united in marriage to Susan Maria Shook, who passed away 22 years ago. To this union were born four children,
three of whom preceded him in death.
In 1909 he was united in marriage to Mrs. Leveica Peters.
Surviving members of the family are Mrs. Demaray, his wife, Mrs. Roy Yarrington, daughter, and grandson Harold of Detroit;
three step children, Mrs. William Eaton and O.M. Peters of Bay City, Mrs. Fred Bose of Monticello, Ind.; three brothers, John
and Ed of Gladwin and Hugh of Bentley and a number of other relatives.
The funeral services were held at the M. E. church, Gladwin. Interment in the Ridge cemetery.
