Ilace Demaray
Ilace M. Demaray, 62, of 4258 Bay Rd., Gladwin, died Monday, Nov. 19, 1990, in the MidMichigan Regional Medical
Center-Midland, after a long illness.
Born in Flint, July 15, 1928, she moved to Gladwin County in 1948 from Grayling. Mrs. Demaray was a member of the Gladwin
Baptist Church.
The former Ilace Small, she was married to Ray Demaray, Jan. 18, 1948, in Gladwin.
Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, Raymond of Forsyth, Mo.; 4 daughters, Mrs. Donald (Jennie) Bailey of
Kirbyville, Mo., Mrs. Harold (Kathie) Derr and Sally Demaray of Gladwin and Mrs. Steve (Mary Beth) Duffy of Evart; 3
brothers, Clarence of Rockford, Ill., Jim and John of Grayling; 2 sisters, Mrs. Mae Neiderer of Grayling and Mrs. Betty
Mynarcik of St. Helen; and 15 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Tom and a sister, Mary Jane.
Services were held last Wednesday at 11 a.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Gladwin Chapel. The Rev. Robert Brown officiated and
burial was in the Highland Cemetery.
