Fred Demaray
Services Today for Fred Demaray
Fred Demaray, 73, of Gladwin, died suddenly at his home early Monday morning.
Services were held today (Wednesday) at 2 p.m. from the Gladwin Baptist Church. The Rev. Henry Hall officiated and burial was
in Highland Cemetery.
A retired farmer, he was born on August 13, 1892, in Gladwin and had spent his entire life here.
Mr. Demaray was married to the former Vernie Brown in December 1915. She died in October 1944. He was remarried to Viola
Kiggins.
Besides his wife, Mr. Demaray is survived by two sons, Ray, of Gladwin, and Virgil, of Flint; one step-son, Vaughn Kiggins,
of Midland; five daughters, Mrs. Neva Mielke, Clare, Mrs. Gladys Carper, Saginaw, Mrs. Virgilene Bruner, of Hale, Mrs. Rose
Mary Anderson, Gladwin, and Mrs. Verna Mae Wade, of Flint; one brother, Frank, of Punta Gorda, Fla.; one sister, Mrs. Lois
Coffell, of Gladwin; 29 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. One son and two step-sons preceded him in death.
