RICHARD DEAN SR.


  Richard D. Dean Sr., 59, of 316 E. Brown St., Beaverton, died suddenly Tuesday, Dec. 13, in the Midland Hospital Center. Born in Lansing on June 10, 1924, he came to Gladwin County 21 years ago. He was a plumber and served in the Army during World War II. Mr. Dean was a member of the Gladwin County VFW Post 7303. He was married to the former Lora Hayward on December 24, 1958, in Gladwin.

  Besides his wife, he is survived by 3 sons, Richard jr., Kenneth and Delbert of Beaverton; one daughter, Mrs. James (Sandra) Dailey of Beaverton; 4 brothers, George Jr. of Bay City, Robert of AuGres, Charles of Cadillac and Lee of Saginaw; his step-mother, Mrs. Gladys Dean of Benzonia; 2 step-brothers, John and Gordon Dean of Benzonia; and one grandson.

  Rites were held Friday at 2 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton Chapel. The Rev. Bruce Hatch officiated and burial was in the Beaverton Cemetery. .
