Thomas Day
Thomas F. Day, 71, passed away Sunday, March 5, 2006 at Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center in Saginaw. He was born on Feb. 3, 1935 in Saginaw to the late Frank and Harriette (Thomas) Day. He was a retired licensed installer from a heating/cooling business, was a veteran of the U.S. Army, and a life time member of the DAV and the VFW Post #11256.
He is survived by three sons, James, Gregory (Rebecca) and Matthew Day, all of Lake Odessa; three grandchildren; his companion and caregiver, Judith Cogley of Beaverton; and one sister, Patricia Bruner of Mason.
A funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, March 8 at the Sisson Funeral Home in Gladwin, with pastor Don Smith presiding. Burial will take place in McClure Cemetery. There was a VFW #11256 service held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The Sisson Funeral Home was charge of arrangements.
