Dorothy Lickfeldt-Davis
Dorothy M. Lickfeldt-Davis, 86, of Gladwin passed away Jan. 27, 2008 at St. Mary’s of Standish Hospital in Standish after a short illness.
She was born March 26, 1921 to William and Nellie (Ford) Craner in Prescott, Michigan.
Dorothy married Norman Davis in 1965 in Harrisville, Michigan.
Dorothy was a homemaker. She lived in Gladwin County for 44 years, having previously resided in Prescott. She was a member of the Ogemaw County Farm Bureau.
Surviving are her husband, Norman Davis of Gladwin; two daughters, Geraldine (Jack) Lawrence of Waynesboro, Tennessee and Harriet (Ed) Scannell of Prudenville; nine grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jeffrey, Michael, Luke, Teri, Peggy, Perry, Paul and Noreen; 27 great-grandchildren; and five great-greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers; two sisters; and one grandchild, James.
Visitation is Thursday, Jan. 31 from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home in Gladwin. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Jan. 31 at 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Matthew Schultz officiating. Burial is in Richland Township Cemetery in Prescott.
Memorial contributions will be made according to the wishes of the family.
