Eugene David
Eugene Robert “Bob” David, 75, of Beaverton, died Nov. 7, 2005 at home.
He was born July 15, 1930 in Superior, Wisconsin to Eugene Albert and Alyce (Soderlund) David. He was a tool and die maker for General Motors and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force having served during the Korean War. He had resided in Gladwin County for over 30 years. He was a member of Albright Shores Eagles Club Aerie 3655 and the American Legion in Midland.
Surviving him are his daughter, Shirley (Kenneth) Collins of Sarasota, Florida; three grandchildren and one Great grandson; his sister, Marylin (Walter) Burger of Solon Springs, Wisconsin; two half brothers, Dave Miko (Bette) David of Hubert, North Carolina and John (Chris) David of Stoughton, Illinois; one half sister, Betty (Bill) Irvin of Stoughton, Illinois; three step sisters, Linda (James) Owens of Sun Rise, Florida, Kathy (Richard) Mathias of Kansas City, Missouri, and Marjorie Whittaker of Washington; and two step brothers, William Whittaker and Robert (Jan) Whittaker, both of Georgetown, Texas. He was predeceased by his parents; one grandchild, Marc; one brother, Eugene Francis David; and one sister, Barbara Halonen.
Funeral services were held Friday, Nov. 11 at Albright Shores Eagles Club in Beaverton.
