Gladwin County Obituary/Death Notice
 
Leo Daniels

   Leo M. Daniels, 82, of Beaverton died Aug. 2, 2006 at MidMichigan Medical Center- Gladwin following a short illness. He was born Sept. 3, 1923 in Boyne City to Walter and Jenny (Gamble) Daniels.

   He married the former Marjorie Dubay in Saginaw on July 27, 1947. He lived in Gladwin County since 1982, having previously resided in Saginaw. He worked as a time keeper at General Motors in Saginaw and was in the U.S. Air Force during WWII. He attended Christ the King Lutheran Church.

   Surviving him are his sons, James (Rebecca) Daniels of Sanford and Robert (Irene) Daniels of Beaverton; his daughters, Barbara (Pat) Boyle of Shepherd and Marlene (Michael) Stewart of Elwell; 10 grandchildren and eight Greatgrandchildren; his sisters, Michelle Hall of Tennessee, Carla Schutste and Renee Avery, both of Palm Harbor, Florida; and his brothers, Joseph Daniels of Canton, Michigan and Dennis Daniels of Fairfax, Virginia. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie Daniels.

   A funeral service was held Monday, Aug. 7 at Hall Funeral Home in Beaverton. Burial was at Roselawn Cemetery in Saginaw. Memorial contributions may be made according to the wishes of the family.
