Gladwin County Obituary/Death Notice
 
Jerry Daniel

   Jerry K. Daniel, 80, of Gladwin, died Monday, Nov. 6, 2006 at MidMichigan Medical Center- Gladwin.

   Jerry was born in Coleman on March 27, 1926 and was a resident of Gladwin for the past 20 years.

   On June 11, 1986 he married Ida. He was a life member of VFW Post #3087. Mr. Daniel was employed by Buick Motor Division for 41 1/2 years and was a member of UAW Local #599. Surviving are wife, Ida; children, Linda (Mark) Candy of Montrose, Susan (Bob) Dimitroff of Gladwin, Jeanine (Kurt) Gibson of Buford, Georgia, Alice Mouton of Lafayette, Louisiana, Arthur (Terri) DesRosier of Mt. Morris, Thomas Daniel of New York City, New York, Rose (Dwain) Scheller of Grand Rapids, Margaret (Ken) Frenchette of St. Helen; 15 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brothers, Lloyd Daniel of Gladwin, Glen (Lenore) Daniel of Kerrville, Texas; sister, Hettie (Clayton) Brock of Flint; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one sister and four brothers.

   Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 9, 2006 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, with Reverend Grant H. Wessel officiating.

   Entombment will take place at Crestwood Cemetery in Grand Blanc, with a military graveside service under the auspices of Chevrolet VFW Post #3087.

   Visitation will be held from 1-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
