Gladwin County Obituary/Death Notice
 
Velma Ross Damoth

   Mrs. Velma Ross Damoth, 76, of 4255 Zuber Rd., Beaverton, died Monday, March 26, in the Midland Hospital Center following a long illness. The former Velma Ross, she was born in Beaverton on November 9, 1895, and spent her lifetime in Gladwin and Clare counties. Mrs. Damoth graduated from Beaverton High School in 1913 and worked at the Art Damoth Insurance Agency in Clare from 1936 to 1954. Surviving are several nieces and nephews. Rites were held today, Wednesday, at 2 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton Chapel. The Rev. Gilbert Miller officiated and burial was in Cherry Grove Cemetery, Clare.
