Gladwin County Obituary/Death Notice
 
Dawn Dallas

   Dawn Marie Dallas, 58, of Kaleva, died Saturday, April 14, at her residence surrounded by her family and friends. She was born January 5, 1949, in Gladwin, the daughter of Wayne Carl and Carol Louise (Conrad) Hutson.

   Dawn enjoyed feeding the birds and cross stitching. She was also an avid gardener who always kept extraordinary flowerbeds. Dawn loved to travel and had journeyed from the United States to Europe. She also enjoyed “Ladies Night” with her friends. Most of all, Dawn was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren Dawn is survived by: her beloved friend, Ed Benson; her son, Steven Wayne Dallas of Brethren; her daughter, Stacee LaRayne Dallas of Buckley; her granddaughters, Jordyn Dawn Dallas of Buckley, Morgan Taylor Dallas of Buckley, Courtney Matuszak of Manistee, Brittany Matuszak of Manistee, and Jessica Brogan of Manistee; and her mother Carrol Louise Hutson, of Manistee.

   Dawn was preceded in death by her husband, William O. Nelson and her father.

   Memorial services will be conducted at 2 p.m., Thursday, April 19, 2007, at the Marilla Church of the Brethren in Marilla, with Pastor Joe Wave officiating Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or to the American Cancer Society.

   The Terwilliger Funeral Home, in Kaleva, is in charge of arrangements.
