LOUIS D. DAGGETT
Louis D. Daggett, 59, of 3138 S. M-30, Beaverton, died Monday, Dec. 19, in the Midland Hospital Center following a short illness. Born in Chattanooga, Tenn., on Nov. 14, 1924, he came to Gladwin County in 1978 from Warren. He was a machinist for Borden Manufacturing in Roseville until retiring in 1979. Mr. Daggett and the former Linnie Jo Peck were married in 1978 in Warren.
Besides his wife, he is survived by 2 sons, Don and James of Plattsburg, N.Y.; 2 daughters, Mrs. Brenda Hutson of Beaverton and Mrs. Joyce Strunk of Gladwin; his mother, Mrs. Effie Daggett of Chattanoga; one brother, William of Staten Island, N.Y.; and 6 grandchildren. Rites will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. from the Faith Missionary Baptist Church in Beaverton. The Rev. Eugene McWherter will officiate and burial will be in the Dale Cemetery. Visitation is at the Hall Funeral Home, Gladwin Chapel. .
