Donald Cuddie
Donald R. Cuddie, 86, of Beaverton died March 19, 2006 at home following a short illness. He was born in Gladwin on July 27, 1919 to Herman J. and Elizabeth (McGregor) Cuddie. He married the Betty Russell in Gladwin on June 21, 1941. They were married for 64 years.
He was a foreman at Brown Machine in Beaverton until 1972 when he transferred to Aladdin Company in Nashville, Tennessee, retiring in 1979 and moving back to Gladwin. Don was a very loving father, grandfather and great grandfather.
Surviving are his wife, Betty Cuddie of Beaverton; two sons, Ronald W. Cuddie of Tennessee and Howard James Cuddie of Beaverton; his sister-in-law, Florence (Tom) Brubaker of Midland; four grandchildren, Douglas, David, Denise and Danette; and eight great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents; four sisters, Leone, Jane, Iris and Velma; his grandson, J.R. Cuddie; and three brothers, Elmar, Mac and Wayne. Memorial contributions may be made according to the wishes of the family. Cremation has taken place.
