Robert Cronk
Robert D. Cronk, 60, of Parker Rd., Gladwin, died Thursday, July 5, 1990,
at his home after a long illness. Born in Bay City, Aug. 5, 1929, he had spent most of his
life in Gladwin County. Mr. Cronk was employed at Robinson Industries for 29 years. He served
in the Korean War and was a member of the Gladwin County VFW Post 7303. Mr. Cronk and the former
Rosa Anna Fetterolf were married, Feb. 20, 1954, in Gladwin.
Besides his wife, he is survived by 2 daughters, Mrs. Dennis (Cheryl) McCulloch and Mrs. Terry
(Violet) Gilbert of Gladwin; his mother, Mrs. Viola Cronk of Gladwin; one brother, James of Gladwin;
2 sisters, Mrs. Barbara Sischo and Mrs. Ruth Foutch of Gladwin; and 3 granddaughters. His father,
Ernest, preceded him in death in 1987.
Services were held Monday at 11 a.m. from the Sisson-Mathews Funeral Home. The Rev. Wayne Jensen
officiated and burial was in the McClure Cemetery.
