PAUL CROCKETT
Paul G. Crockett, 61, of 4350 Beaverton Rd., Beaverton, died Sunday, Jan. 1, in the Gladwin Area Hospital after a long illness. Born in Tobacco Township, Feb. 2, 1927, he had spent his lifetime her. Mr. Crockett farmed and was a member of the Beaverton Masonic Lodge. Mr. Crockett and the former Eleanor Keyes were married Feb. 10, 1951, in Midland County.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Michael of Hope; 2 daughters, Mrs. Frank (Kathy) Powers of Midland and Peggy Messer of Palm Harbor, Fla.; 5 brothers, Marion of New Port News, Va., Homer and Roger of Beaverton, FLoyd of Midland and Jacob of Coleman; 2 sisters, Helen Balmer of Chelsear and Viola Roberts of Beaverton; 6 grandchildren and 2 step-grandchildren. A brother, Albert, preceded him in death.
Services were held today, Wednesday, at 11 a.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton Chapel. The Rev. Janet Larner officiated and burial was in the Tobacco Township Cemetery. A Masonic Memorial Service was held Tuesday evening. .
