Franklin Crick
Franklin A. Crick, 57, of Gladwin died Oct. 21, 2005 at his home after a long illness. He was born in Gladwin on June 22, 1948 to William and Treva (Fritz) Crick. He married Edie Smith in Ohio on Sept. 15, 1972. He lived in Gladwin County his whole life and was a caregiver at Willford’s Adult Foster Care. He served in the Navy during the Vietnam War.
Surviving are his wife, Edie Crick of Gladwin; two daughters, Lori (Gary) Bailey of Blanchard and Carrie Crick, and special friend Fred Shaver of Gladwin; four grandchildren and one Great grandchild; and one sister, Billie Stanfield of Gladwin. He was predeceased by his parents and one grandchild, Timothy.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, 2005 at Hall Funeral Home, 440 E. Cedar Avenue in Gladwin. Pastor David Sprang will be officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery in Gladwin. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made according to the wishes of the family.
