Gladwin County Obituary/Death Notice
 
Keith Crawford

   Keith B. Crawford, 91, of Gladwin passed away Saturday, Sept. 15, 2007 at his home.

   Keith was born July 30, 1916 in Otisville to Fred and Emma (Howse) Crawford.

   He married the former Dorothy Collins on July 12, 1944 in Atlanta, Michigan. They moved to Gladwin from Tuscola County in 1951 and started farming where he raised Belgian horses and Jersey cows. Keith was a member of the First United Methodist Church and was active in the United Methodist Men.

   He loved to farm and had served on the library board, was the Sage Township supervisor and a member of the Cedar River Riding Club.

   Surviving are his wife, Dorothy; three sons, David (Linda) Crawford of Gladwin, Alan (Carol) Crawford of Gladwin and Brian (Lenore) Crawford of Midland; three daughters, Janet Crawford of Aurora, Colorado, Diane (David) Smith of Ferndale and Ruth (Carl) Schalm of Oxford; 16 grandchildren; five greatgrandchildren; two sisters, Erma (Clifford) Clack of Wyandotte and Donna Sweeny (Frank O’Berry) of Harrison. Keith is predeceased by two brothers and one sister.

   Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2007 at the Gladwin First United Methodist Church. Pastor Brian Cuddie will officiate.

   Memorials may be made to Gideons or Heartland Hospice. Sisson Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
