Thomas Crandall
Thomas A. Crandall, 63, of Gladwin passed away March 7, 2008 at his home following a long illness.
He was born in Saginaw on Sept. 18, 1944 to John and Geraldine (Lintz) Crandall. He was employed as a carpenter for Brown Construction. He had lived in Gladwin County for 30 years, previously residing in Saginaw.
Thomas married Jean (Fobear) Crandall on March 7, 1970 in Munger.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Crandall of Gladwin; sons, Thomas Merrow of Colorado, Greg (Susan) Merrow of Bay City, and Gene Crandall and fiance Rosie; daughters, Morenia and Kim Karklin of Midland and Polly (Kevin) Bailey of Gladwin; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; very special granddaughter and grandson, Kim and Josh; several nieces and nephews; and his better half “Pup”. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services were held March 10, 2008 at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home in Gladwin. He was laid to rest in Butman Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions will be used according to the wishes of the family.
