Glen Coyle
Glen W. Coyle, 77, of Beaverton went home to his Heavenly Father on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 19, 2005.
He was born in Flint on Oct. 11, 1927 to Frank and Cecile (Dunton) Doyle. He married Ruth Foust on Dec. 24, 1950 in Gladwin. She survives him. He was a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service and retired in September of 1990. He was a veteran of the Korean War and was a member of the Beaverton Baptist Church.
Surviving besides his wife Ruth are two sons, Kenneth (Vicky) Doyle and Thomas (Judy) Doyle, both of Beaverton; two daughters, Vicki (Mike) Connor of Wayland and Janice (Rob) Cooper of Coldwater; his mother, Cecile Doyle of Gladwin; 15 grandchildren and four Great grandchildren; one brother, Robert Doyle of Mesa, Arizona; and his sister, Pearl Foust of Philipsburg, Montana. He was predeceased by his father, Frank Doyle, and his sister, Lucille Rau in 1991.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 24 at the Beaverton Baptist Church with Rev. Roger Foust, Sr. and Rev. Jimmy Smith presiding with burial in Grout Township Cemetery. The family request memorials for Mid-Michigan Hospice and Visiting Nurse’s or American Cancer Society. The Sisson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
