KENNETH COX
Kenneth R. Cox, 73, of 1491 Elm Pl., Beaverton, died Tuesday, May 26, at home after a long illness. Born in Arcada, Kan. April 7, 1913, he bought property in Gladwin County in 1961 an dmoved here on 1968 from Pontiac. Mr. Cox was a foreman with G.M.C. Truck and Coach for 42 years. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Tittabawassee Valley Lions Club and Gladwin Co. React. He was the Hay Township Constable. Mr. Cox and the former Eva Myers, were married Nov. 26, 1965, in Rochester.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Evelyn Brown, of Pontiac; 4 stepchildren, Beverly Spencer and Barbara Larvick of Lake Orion; Dale Hopp of Pontiac and Bernadine Meyers of Clarkston; one brother, Arthur; 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Services were held Friday at 1 p.m. from the Sisson-Mathews Funeral Home. The Rev. Carter Miller officiated and burial was in the Beaverton Cemetery. .
