WIlliam Couchman
RITES HELD FOR HAMILTON MAN
Leo Couchman, 71, of Hamilton Township, died Thursday, Dec. 16, following an illness of several
weeks. Born Nov. 17, 1894, in Saginaw, he was the son of William and Molly Couchman, and a veteran
of World War I. He and the former Miss Gladys Farrell were married in Flint Feb. 17, 1920. They came
to Hamilton in 1957 from Detroit after retiring from Chrysler Corporation where he was employed as
an auto body trimmer. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Gladwin.
Mr. Couchman is survived by his wife, Gladys; two grandchildren; a brother, Menton Couchman, and
a sister, Mrs. Charles Durnan, both of Flint. Services were held Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart
Church with the Rev. Fr. George B. Artman officiating. Burial was in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
